Thursday, Feb. 15, 5-8 p.m. 

Meet your first responders at Public Safety Night at the Sunset Market. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., this family event will feature vehicle displays by the Oceanside Police Department, Oceanside Fire Department and Oceanside Lifeguards.

 

Throughout Public Safety Night, Oceanside police officers, firefighters and lifeguards will be handing out items such as coloring books and stickers, as well as sharing public safety information and opportunities to become part of our city’s safety team, including: 

 

• OPD volunteer programs

• Oceanside Community Emergency Response Team 

• CPR 

• Surf, swim, and boating safety

REMEMBRANCE RESCUE PROJECT

The 9/11 Remembrance Project is a nonprofit dedicated to historical preservation and youth education to honor the 343 fallen Fire Department of the City of New York firefighters and the thousands impacted by Sept. 11. The Remembrance Rescue Project will have a special memorial display at Public Safety Night.
