Take our returning challenge to shop, eat and play local this holiday season! Register and download our scavenger hunt mobile app. Then visit Oceanside businesses, destinations and events during 'Tis the Season to Shop Local from Small Business Saturday, Nov. 26, through Sunday, Dec. 11, for a chance to win local prizes! No purchase necessary to participate.

Choose a GooseChase user name and register with us here. Your registration enters you into local prize giveaways from participating 'Tis the Season to Shop Local businesses and makers. You must be registered to be eligible for our prize giveaways.
2. DOWNLOAD
Download the GooseChase app. Then search for and join the Oceanside Holiday Challenge game, or use Join Code GDVWP3.
3. SHOP, EAT & PLAY
Starting on Small Business Saturday, visit any of the businesses participating in the Oceanside Holiday Challenge. The game guides you to local businesses, destinations and events to complete missions by snapping selfies or shooting videos. Each mission you complete earns you one or more points toward winning local prizes. Each point earned in the game equals one giveaway entry. Winners will be chosen by drawing. Share photos or video to Instagram with the hashtag #oceansideholidaychallenge.

Winner of the 2021 Small Business Saturday Neighborhood Champion Innovation Contest by Main Street America and American Express, ’Tis the Season to Shop Local is an annual holiday campaign to support local retail businesses and artisans by encouraging residents and visitors to shop local during the holiday season. Sponsored by MiraCosta College and The Osider, the campaign is a partnership between MainStreet Oceanside, City of Oceanside Economic Development and the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce.
